Welcome to our web site

ASCT was founded in 1975 to help the extremely poor children of the Philippines by caring for them on a long term basis.

Poverty affects the lives of many children in the Philippines. It is difficult to imagine being abandoned at an early age and having to fight for survival on the streets - begging, stealing, or selling yourself in order to eat. It is equally hard to imagine living and working on a rubbish dump in order to help support your family. Yet this is the everyday reality for many children helped by ASCT. We have three project Mango Tree House, Cashew Tree School and The Grapevine Project. All three projects help children to improve their lives and reach their full potential through education.

We have made it! The children have moved in to the New Mango Tree House. Thank you to everyone who has helped to make our vision a reality. For more information on the new home go to our Seedling page.

CAN YOU HELP!!

To complete the Seedling project we need to sell the current Mango Tree House, which is located in Quezon City, Metro Manila. Due to the current global recession this is proving to be difficult. Can you help? Do you have any contacts in the Philippines, do you have any ideas that can help us with the sale? If so please contact Alison on 01276 707633.

If you live in or around the Camberley area why not come along to one of the summer organ recitals, half of all proceeds will be going to ASCT. Please see details below.
